Overview of Our Services

The Genomics facility at ICR is based in Sutton campus. The facility is equipped with state of the art tools required for supporting cutting-edge genomics research .The facility is operated by highly trained staff and provides services to academic and clinical groups within ICR, other Universities, Hospitals and Industries. Along with sample quality control analysis, library preparation and sequencing, we also offer bespoke Bioinformatics analyses.

      

 

How can the Genomics Facility assist you?

The Genomics facility is happy to discuss your project and support you to plan your genomics experiments. We can advice you on the best technology that suits your research question and provide you all the information related to it.

The team can help you with:

• Spatial transcriptomics for FFPE and fresh-frozen samples (Visium and CosMx)
• Single cell sequencing for live and fixed cells (FFPE and fresh samples)
• Long read sequencing using Oxford Nanopore PromethION
• Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS)
• Whole Exome Sequencing (WES)
• RNA sequencing (both mRNA-seq and Total RNA-seq)
• DNA methylation sequencing 
• TCR sequencing (FumeSeq, Qiagen and NEB)
• Sequencing on novaSeq X Plus, NovaSeq 6000, NextSeq 2000 and Miseq 
• Full bioinformatics support for Spatial, Single cell, TCR, WGS, WES, RNAseq etc

• Illumina NovaSeq X Plus

                       

• Illumina NovaSeq 6000 for sequencing 

 

• Illumina NextSeq 2000 for sequencing

• Illumina Miseq for sequencing

 

• Oxford Nanopore PromethION for long read sequencing 

 

• Hamilton for liquid handling
